Prime Video has released the teaser trailer for The Man with the Bag, a Christmas action comedy starring Arnold Schwarzenegger as Santa Claus. It premieres worldwide on Prime Video on December 2, 2026.
The story
Christmas is in trouble when a rogue elf with a grudge steals Santa's famous red bag. To get it back, Santa turns to an unlikely helper: a petty thief straight off the Naughty List. The thief puts together a crew of misfits and, with a little help from the elves and reindeer, plans a heist to save the holiday. Along the way it's a story about second chances and friendship.
Who's in it
Schwarzenegger plays Santa, with Alan Ritchson as Vince, the thief Santa recruits, and Awkwafina as the elf who steals the bag. The supporting cast includes Liza Koshy, Kyle Mooney, Ken Jeong, Jane Krakowski, Michael Cyril Creighton, Berkeley James, Adrian Martinez, Roger Bart and Matty Cardarople.
Behind the camera
Adam Shankman (Hairspray, Disenchanted) directs from a screenplay by Allan Rice. It's produced through Grey Matter Productions, and Ritchson is among the producers.
