Netflix has released a second official trailer for The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth, which brings Brad Pitt's laid-back stuntman back to Los Angeles. It plays exclusively in IMAX theaters from November 25, 2026, before arriving on Netflix on December 23.
The story
This is a standalone sequel and spin-off to Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019). It's set in 1977, eight years after Cliff's run-in with the Manson family. He's now working as a Hollywood studio fixer, handling scandals and secrets in a grittier, post-hippie LA, and he gets tangled up with an actor who wants more from him than stunt doubling. The two-week IMAX run is a first for Netflix, and the film has its world premiere in Los Angeles on November 16.
Who's in it
Pitt returns as Cliff Booth. Elizabeth Debicki plays Karen Crosby, Scott Caan is Charlie Peters, Carla Gugino is Toni Peters, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II plays Roderick "Hot Rod" Harrison. Peter Weller plays Cliff's father, Gus Booth, and Timothy Olyphant reprises his Once Upon a Time in Hollywood role as James Stacy. Holt McCallany, Corey Fogelmanis and Karren Karagulian also appear.
Behind the camera
David Fincher directs from an original screenplay by Tarantino, a rare pairing of two of Hollywood's most distinctive filmmakers. The crew includes cinematographer Erik Messerschmidt, editor Kirk Baxter, and composers Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. Producers include Ceán Chaffin and Pitt.
Produced by Plan B Entertainment and distributed by Netflix.
