Avengers: Doomsday Trailer

Marvel has released the official trailer for Avengers: Doomsday, the next big team-up in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It opens in theaters on December 18, 2026.

The story

Set fourteen months after Thunderbolts, the film brings together heroes from three different universes: the Avengers, Wakandans and New Avengers from the main MCU timeline, the Fantastic Four from their own Earth, and the original X-Men from another. All of them converge to face one enemy, Doctor Doom. Marvel bills it as a chapter of the Multiverse Saga, and it leads straight into Avengers: Secret Wars, due in December 2027.

Who's in it

Robert Downey Jr. plays Victor von Doom. Chris Evans is back as Steve Rogers and Chris Hemsworth as Thor, alongside Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson's Captain America, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, Letitia Wright as Shuri and Tom Hiddleston as Loki. Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn and Ebon Moss-Bachrach bring the Fantastic Four, while Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen and James Marsden return as Professor X, Magneto and Cyclops. Channing Tatum plays Gambit.

Behind the camera

Anthony and Joe Russo direct from a script by Michael Waldron and Stephen McFeely. Kevin Feige produces with the Russos, and it's the 39th film in the MCU.

Produced by Marvel Studios and AGBO, and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.
